FESTIVAL INFORMATION

DATE: Saturday, April 24, 2010

TIME: 10AM - 9PM

LOCATION: Main Street, Downtown Central SC

The Railroad Festival features tours of the Central Railway Museum, local food, music and arts and crafts vendors.
 
Free entertainment for children will include train displays, a musical show for children, a balloon artist, a train ride, a hayride, face painting and a Thomas the Tank display and activities, as well as a tour of the Central red caboose and a rail car.
 
Admission to the festival is free and convenient parking is available.
 
The festival is in the process of reserving sponsorships from area businesses and community members. The Railroad Festival committee has created a broad range of sponsorship levels to guarantee broad participation from all community sectors. The deadline for major sponsorships is March 31.
